As a multi-airport operator in South Korea, KAC has developed wireless scale conveyor among many other airport equipment to enhance passenger convenience.
Scale conveyors in general, have two indicators and a foot switch that are connected with electric and communication cables, causing much inconvenience to the airline staff at the check-in counters. These cables may cause fire due to shortcut circuit.
Wireless scale conveyor sends control and indication signals using Wi-fi to enhance safety and convenience and eliminate risk factors by removing cables at the check-in counters. This new technology is expected to be greatly welcomed by airline staffs who are the main users.
KAC has also developed lightweight portable ILS/VOR signal analyzers, flat-floor passenger boarding bridges for wheelchairs and double-sloped carousels for baggage handling system at small or medium-sized airports. All of which are designed for user-friendliness.
This new scale conveyor and other airport equipment aimed to enhance usability will be exhibited during the Inter Airport Southeast Asia 2019 (stand C73) in Singapore from 27th February – 1st March 2019.
KAC exhibits its booth in cooperation with Korean airport equipment manufacturers including AG Co. Ltd., Woosoo ENG Co. Ltd. and YeoMyoung Hi-tec Co. Ltd.
